The creative process behind Lost was far from straightforward.
“I started the first draft about a year ago, but couldn’t finish it,” Aaron Decay explains. “This summer, I reopened the project and everything aligned naturally, it felt like the track had been waiting for the right moment to come alive.”
This rediscovery brought clarity, allowing him to shape the balance between power and emotion.

Musically, Lost draws from a wide spectrum of influences, including Paradoks’s emotional depth, Spada’s progressive energy, and Anyma’s striking sound design. The result is a piece that evolves like an inner dialogue, weaving melancholic melodies with pulsating beats.
“I’m especially proud of the melodic progression, where the synths overlap to create a hypnotic and immersive atmosphere,” Aaron Decay shares.

Although the lyrics touch on themes of addiction and struggle, Aaron Decay insists they are not an incitement but rather a reflection of harsh realities meant to provoke thought.
