Using Ableton Live 12 and Arturia’s Pigments synthesizer, he layers airy sounds with a continuous melody, evoking an atmosphere where listeners feel both small and deeply connected. “One of my proudest moments was composing the melody over the chord progression—it immediately felt right and brought a smile to my face,” he recalls.
« Sequoia » has its roots in Aaron Decay’s love for instrumental music, blending influences from artists like Nora en Pure, Lane 8, and Jan Blomqvist. “It was a challenge to convey strong emotions purely instrumentally, but I found new ways to express feelings without words,” he explains.
